You know one of those people who even if given a whole load of crap, would simply pile it up and climb it?

This picture is for one such person – someone who will always be on the top of the world, on her own terms.

Yes my dear, I just got your drawing book, and card in the post. (Should have noticed it last week when

I got back to Singapore, but you know how blur I am.) Haha… You’re wrong loh. I cannot draw to save my life.

But these days, I’ve stopped worrying. I’ve stopped trying so hard to explain to people what I can’t do.

Stopped trying to tell fellow travellers, for example, that just because I'm carrying an SLR doesn’t mean

I’m a photographer. Spent the first half of my India trip doing that you know!!

I’m beginning to think that as long as we’ve got a bit of courage, bit of defiance, and are having fun,

we’re not screwed. And I know you feel the same way. I know you’d be the person to take on

the world even if all you had were a single bottle of red wine and flip flops! Got to be a FULL

bottle of red wine, of course.
